Along the Way has included many stories. Join us as we take a look at a few of them. Click on the story link below to go to the story you want. Along the Way -- The trilogy Pilgrimage, Journey and Departure that were published by the North Star and made available for a while at this website have been combined in an ebook entitled Along the Way and made available for sell through Barnes and Nobles.com.   It is an engaging story of Theo Douglas, a young man trying to respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit by making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. He is helped on that journey by two mentors.
 
The Contest -- This series follows the missionary journey of Blessed Diego Luis de SanVitores SJ to the Mariana Islands and his encounter with the Chamorro leader Maga'lahi Ke'puha. The contest is not between individual men but between two world views, each with its strengths and weaknesses.
 
Why do you persecute me? -- This is a retelling of the story of Saul of Tarsus. It is fictional, as it tries to fill in gaps in the history of Saul but the fiction is respectful of historic conditions and events. The goal of this retelling of Saul's story to help the reader get a sense of the man apart from the historical figure.
 
Upon this Rock... -- This is a fictional retelling of the story of Simon Bar Jonah, also known as St. Peter. As with the tale of St. Paul, the goal is to help the reader get a sense of the man apart from the historical figure.
 
Everything has a beginning... -- This is the story of Adam and Eve, as well as the opening chapter of the retelling of the Book of Genesis that began the various series of stories eventually published in the North Star.

Of a tower and a flood -- This continues the retelling of the Bood of Genesis with the tale of the tower of Babel and Noah's adventure at sea.
 
A Journey Begins -- This is the tale of a businessman who encounters a mysterious stranger and his life is forever changed as a result.
 
Jealousy, lies and a wrestling match -- Fighting over an inheritance causes twin brothers to become enemies and forces one to set out on an adventure that changes his life.
 
Another case of sibling rivalry -- A spoiled young man has his world fall out from under him and learns his lesson in a big way.
 
Joshua's tale -- Earth shaking events, the building of a nation, and the intervention of supernatural powers all from the perspective of the second in command.
